The story goes that they created a device in the name of 'peace'. A device so powerful, it would forever end all wars and bloodshed. A device so revered, its very name struck fear in the hearts of the creators themselves. A device so catastrophic, it all but annihilated the world in a blink of an eye when the inevitable happened.

Life tried her best to protect her foolish creations, but even the very embodiment of life was powerless against the onslaught. And in her dying breath, she made me promise her one thing.

That I, Death, will save this world.
