The power of the human mind and soul had been discovered by several powerful people who all wished to harness its abilities to further their own goals. Though all of them know of this secret, none have told the other about it in hopes of gaining a technological advantage in the future. Several research teams have been created for the sole purpose of studying this phenomenon to search for its applications and uses, and they have been granted total freedom in their way of study, all inhibitions were removed to hasten progress.
In one of the research groups for this project, one person wrote a journal that detailed everything that happened inside their workplace. Day to day things of chatting with coworkers and other employees, to disturbing secrets that lay within the facility.
