A slightly strange guy from earth awakens in a new body in another world.

He wasn't the chosen one, he wasn't the Isekai hero. He wasn't gifted with incredible blessings from the gods. No, he was a mistake... and to fix that mistake he has to try to save two worlds!

To do it, all he has is a broken and obsolete system, a tail, and a price on his head. And it doesn't help that he's stuck in the lowest of the low, the potato chip of the monster world, the creatures that even absolute newbie slaughter in bulk to get their very first level... a kobold!

If you like monsters inc., jambalaya, deep sea fishing, books by H.P. Lovecraft, or World of Warcraft, you might like this book. Of course, if you don't, you might like this book too, since it doesn't have anything to do with any of those other things, except jambalaya. Mmm... Or does it?

This is a tale that starts from the POV of an involuntary bottom of the barrel monster, and moves through his advancement as various forms of monster. It is not, "The Kobold warlord organizes his noble savage race and takes on the world." If that's what you are looking for, you will be unhappy with the story.

Caution: May contain characters with some personalities and opinions, evil corporate scumbags, villains of multiple genders, a high-function autistic protagonist, a few characters that are not narcissistic sociopaths, some recipes for bachelors that want to impress their date, and lots of anti-elf bigotry.

Current chapter release schedule is Tue-Thurs-Sat, but if I get more productive that may speed up. If I have heartworms, get hit by a car, get chased up a tree by a dog, or am otherwise unavailable I will try to let folks know.
