The world of Sustelas

Note: this is a setting, in addition of being a story. The idea is that we want to create a shared universe that is not restricted to a select set of authors, but can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Sustelas is a world of magic. It is Earth-like in size, and each continent has a different flavor, including High, Heroic, Low, Urban, Dark and Nautical Fantasy, Steampunk, Wuxia and LitRPG. Its magic system is designed to be convenient and flexible for writers, with competing magical traditions having different capabilities and restrictions. Its people consists of humans, elves, goblins, and many, many more.

If two stories are set in this setting, by default it is assumed the events of story A are considered rumors, stories, tales-of-distant-lands or even prophecy inside of story B, with the potential confirmation of story A's events in story B's continuum up to story B's author. This work mostly consists of different characters' narrow and flawed perspectives on their world, perhaps with a heavy bias towards the scholarly consensus, which is still up to debate.
