What Lies Within

All is not what it seems. Both in the world around us, and within us too.

Right there when it all happened, at the Source, Fraser is one of the Blessed, those gifted with magic. The son of a founding family, trained to use his magic by the Guardians of Humanity, and working under them to deal with all of the complications that having magic lurking in the world has brought.

Except - that while doing so, he lost the use of his magic.

Fraser tries to push on, exploring his relationship with his best friend Uriah, as he struggles against the boundaries and expectations set by the Guardians and his parents.

There is something else, though, gnawing away at him below the surface, and, at some point, he will have to face it, along with everything else that seems to be brewing, the originals, an arranged marriage, and the truth behind it all. Him, them, and the Source.

A trans story of friendship, self-discovery, and love, with a dash of action, a ‘hidden’ magical society, and the darkness that lurks within and around us all.
