A Deity’s Journey

The first Tower made its appearance 100 years ago, soon after countless others followed. The Towers were challenges issued by the Deities that mankind and alike worshipped. Inside of these structures, monsters lurked and treasures glistened. However, at the very top, something more valuable than all the precious items combined was held. This is known as the Deity's Essence. When absorbed, it grants the being with a unique ability. If a person were to absorb enough of this, they would become a full-blown deity. This is the Gods' challenge. They wish to see who is willing to risk their life to join them.
