Love Me, Kiss Me, Bite Me

Vampires. They prowl in the night, hunting innocence to satiate their neverending hunger for human blood.

Amongst the hoard of fiendish creatures exists a Vampire Queen.

The Mother of all Vampires.

The one true ruler.

Raphael, appointed captain of overseeing the extermination of all the vampires, is tasked to raid the Vampire Queen's lair.

Upon entering her base, he sees a woman chained to the wall.

With red-rimmed eyes, she looks up, startled by the sudden company. Her eyes drift lower to the stake doused with holy water in his hand. With a small smile, she reaches her hands towards the space that divides them.

"Sir...may you please pray for me?"

Taken aback, he clutches the stake tighter. A vampire asking for mercy from the Lord? Inconceivable.

He should kill her.

He will kill her.

And yet... instead of plunging his stake through her heart, he lets her go.
