Shields, those who serve and protect the Heroes destined to kill the Demon Lords. Earth Thornell is one of those for his Older Brother Vern, which he hates. Now he's being drug along to an island to prepare for the Heroes to go into the Demon's kingdom and start the hunt for the one who would rise to the title of Demon Lord. Now joined by other duos as weird and dysfunctional as them, they must forge relationships and friendships and feelings while also dealing with the fact that the current top candidate for Demon Lord is an old friend of Earth and Vern.

Notice: The early part of this is basically going to be rushed editing of a story I found in one of my old notebooks, so expect a sudden change of style and tone at some point. Also the transgender stuff won't happen until then.
