Celestial Elves, a race of Celestial beings, bargained with the world leaders of Earth to not destroy the planet if they could offer them an appreciable number of prisoners as compensation for not destroying their world.

The leaders gathered around and agreed to their terms. After all, what could be better than such a deal? These were just a bunch of cutthroat criminals and misfits.

A thorn to society at large. World leaders would be glad to let these bands of miscreants leave their homeland as soon as possible.

And so a deal was struck with the Celestial beings, with the inhabitants of the world at large oblivious to this knowledge except for the world leaders of course.

A total of 80,000 criminals charged with a death sentence would be enough to placate the Celestial's urge for destruction.

And here’s where our protagonist comes into play.

Ace Tempest, an eighteen-year-old undergraduate, was framed and lied to, Ace was apprehended for offenses he did not commit. He was blamed for the murder of his family and girlfriend.

Thrown into a prison facility just like the rest of the criminals, Ace had no choice but to take part in this survival game where players who suffered in-game deaths would surely follow a similar fate in real life.

But what Ace didn't know was that this game he found himself in wasn't a game but a world on its own modeled in the form of a game by the Celestial elves.

Barely struggling to survive to earn his freedom, Ace was targeted and killed by a party leader of another group.

And just before his death, the party leader confessed he was the one who killed his family.

What the? Why?! It was too late to ask any questions. He had died and nothing could change that fact.

Or is there?

Somehow, Ace woke up just a few minutes before he becomes arrested once again. Now, what will he do with a knowledge of several months of experience in the game titled Surviving Online?

Would he try to run away to change his fate or would he grab this once-in-a-lifetime chance to finally seek justice for his loved ones? Follow Ace as he aims to become the most overpowered player that may most likely destroy the game's AI and leveling system.
