Very Lucky?

Hu Weiqi is a 28 year old happy go lucky man. He grew up in a normal loving family, he and his siblings never fought, his parents were very accommodating, and his life has always been smooth sailing.
According to his grandfather, a day before he was born, he happened to meet a Taoist priest and received a divination, he was told that his grandson that is soon to be born had a verry lucky fate, therefore he was named Weiqi (very lucky).
Weiqi’s life is very easy-going. Because he won a small lottery when he was younger, he was able to buy a small apartment building and he is happily living off the rent. He collects the rent, he watches tv and he occasionally hangs out with his only college friend and plays with his friend’s adorable puppy, he lives a very happy life. His only regret is that he never pursued acting, now do not get him wrong, he never really had a talent for it, it is just that watching all those palace dramas on TV, he always though it would be fun to act as someone else.
However Weiqi’s lucky life ends abruptly, when he is hit by a car, and he is not even 30 yet.
“Hey, what happened to my Very Lucky fate. Grandpa, you better ask that Taoist priest for a refund.”
That is Weiqi’s thought after he is hit by the truck.
As he is waiting for death, or pain, or to finally fall back down “Hmm, it seems that the truck hit me so hard that I am still floating hours later” Weiqi opens his eyes only to find himself in a strange place.
The place looks like a normal park, or forest, he can’t quite tell because it is dark around, and it seems to be nighttime “How far did this truck hit me?”
There is an arrogant boy in front of him spouting nonsense, then there is a man in white that looks like he stepped out of an ancient painting, then comes the man in black in the same ancient style.
All the sudden he realizes that he transmigrated.
Now, sadly it is not any of those cheating transmigration stories where he has the memories of the original person, or where he reads the book or the script and he knows what is supposed to happen, nor does he gets a super OP power (oh wait, apparently his soul does not conform to the rules of this world so the underworld has no effect on him, so maybe that is his OP power).
But hey, he would take something more tangible, such as, money, or a place to sleep, or a god damn jacket, he really does not like the cold.
So, he is simply thrown in a world where he knows nothing, not even where he lives, he was told that people cultivate and live longer, and there seems to be different schools of cultivation. He just met two supervisor of the Underworld (yup, Underworld) and they just smacked him with this unbelievable news and then left, yup, just left him, right there, in the middle of the park, or forest, or god-damned mountain for all he knows.
So yes, as he is shivering and trying to find out how the hell to get out of here, he thinks, hey at least if I freeze to death or get killed by some wild animal or ghost (oh yes, apparently ghosts are also real) he can just keep on walking, because the Underworld would not collect his soul, wait does that make him an immortal? But he would prefer not to walk around with missing limbs or extra holes in him, so let’s try not to test the theory of immortality.
So yes, maybe that Taoist priest was right, he seems to be Very Lucky?
